Nothoiin was a planet[1] in the Nothoiin system in the Anoat sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[3] It had a moon on which ur-diamonds were mined.[4] During the Iron Blockade, a makeshift medical center on Nothoiin had to resort to smugglers to acquire supplies from Gerrenthum.[1] The planet's native sentients species, the gold-skinned Nothoiins, once ruled the entire Anoat sector.[7]
Baron Shkan-Shkan Yew, one of the richest men in the galaxy[8] by 19 BBY,[9] was the ruler of an obscure Nothoiin colony world.[8]
Behind the scenes
First introduced in the online roleplaying game supplement Galactic Gazetteer: Hoth and the Greater Javin, Nothoiin became canon when it was mentioned in a team raid on the mobile game Star Wars: Uprising
