The Nord system was located in the Kanz sector, a part of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories.[2] It was situated in grid square N-4 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Nord system was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[3] The system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity via a mention in the 1990 West End Games sourcebook Galaxy Guide 6: Tramp Freighters, which was written by Mark Rein-Hagen and Stewart Wieck for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[4]
