The Nord system was a star system that was located within the Kanz sector, in the Outer Rim Territories[1] and New Territories regions of the galaxy.[2] The bounty hunter known as Iceman, who operated in the Minos Cluster shortly after the Battle of Yavin, hailed from the Nord system.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Nord system was first mentioned in the 1990 sourcebook Galaxy Guide 6: Tramp Freighters, which was written by Mark Rein-Hagen and Stewart Wieck for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[4] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the system in grid square N-4.[2]
