Kesmer Faloodi was a Reshtini nicknamed Bottomless because of his gluttonous appetite, though he did not know what his nickname referred to. Faloodi was a charming gossip who hoodwinked visitors to the Lomi Usqi Noodle Shop on the planet Ueda into covering his bills, and he could go days without paying for a meal.[1] In 132 BBY,[2] Faloodi was sitting between[3] the Wrosidians Bihun and Basko[1] while eating noodles in the shop when the assassin Mae-ho Aniseya walked past them on her way to kill Jedi Master Indara. As Aniseya walked by,[3] the server droid K7-1EG hovered beside Faloodi and used its processors to calculate and recheck estimates for his appetite,[1] while Faloodi gripped the sides of his bowl and slurped noodles into his mouth.[3] Cabuck Junior, the son of noodle shop owner Cabuck,[1] had a handmade toy of Faloodi.[4] Faloodi wore a red expanding smock of stretch fabric. He had orange eyes, tan and blue skin, and a proboscis.[1]
Behind the scenes
Kesmer Faloodi first appeared in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action Disney+ series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on June 4, 2024.[5] Prior to the release of the episode, he was first depicted in a trailer shown exclusively at Celebration Europe[6] during the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase on April 7, 2023.[7] He was first identified in Pablo Hidalgo's 2025 reference book, Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide.[1] Claire Roi Harvey, Lynn Robertson Bruce, Adrian Parish, and Beccy Henderson puppeteered Faloodi, and Nicolas Ferrard wrangled his noodles.[8] Tim Berry designed the puppet's body and part of its animatronic head, which was then finished by Adrian Parish. Faloodi was designed and sculpted by Stefano Cordioli.[9] The scenes in the Lomi Usqi Noodle Shop were filmed at Shinfield Studios,[10] England.[11]
