Bihun was a genderless Wrosidian "related" to the fellow Wrosidian Basko—who originated from the same stalk—although the two were not siblings.[1] In 132 BBY,[2] Bihun and Basko were seated at a table in[3] the Lomi Usqi Noodle Shop on the planet Ueda,[1] eating noodles with[3] the Reshtini Kesmer Faloodi.[1] The human assassin[3] Mae-ho Aniseya[1] entered the shop during Bihun's stay there and passed by their table on her way to murder Jedi Master Indara. Bihun and Basko abandoned their table during the assassin's subsequent fight with the Jedi and her companions.[3]
Bihun had eyes with red sclera and brown irises and their skin was green, shifting to brown on their nose and having a purple tint on some parts of their face, such as around the eyes. During their noodle shop visit, the Wrosidian wore dark gray robes, a large belt, and a collar that covered their shoulders.[1]
Behind the scenes
Bihun first appeared, albeit unidentified, in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action Disney+ series The Acolyte, which aired on June 4, 2024.[4] Prior to their debut in the episode, the Wrosidian was first depicted in a trailer shown exclusively at Celebration Europe[5] on April 7, 2023, during the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase.[6] The individual was later identified as Bihun in the Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide reference book written by Pablo Hidalgo, published in 2025.[1] Bihun was brought to life by a droid and creature FX team that was led by the creative supervisor Neal Scanlan,[7] and the noodle shop scenes[8] that featured them[3] were filmed at Shinfield Studios,[8] England.[9] In real life, bihun is an Indonesian noodle dish[10] and bakso is an Indonesian type of meatball soup.[11] The two dishes are sometimes served together.[12] Bihun was designed and built by Tim Berry and Nicolas Ferrard, performed by Hannah Hornsby and Caitlin Nicholas, and puppeteered by Wim Oppenheimer and Patrick Comberford.[13]
