The Niamos system was located in the Vorzyd sector of the Outer Rim Territories in the galaxy, situated in grid square R-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid. The system contained the planet Niamos.[1]

The Niamos system was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the appendix Star Systems of the Galaxy, published on the StarWars.com website on June 24, 2025.[1]
