Naddie was a human female who was one of the Path of the Open Hand's Littles.[1] In 382 BBY,[3] she[1] gave Jedi Master Silandra Sho a flower in the Holy City of the moon Jedha, but was warned about doing so by Marda Ro—an Evereni who served as the Path's Guide—as the Path believed the Jedi to be dangerous. Naddie then apologized and was taken away to Elder Delwin and other members of the Path. Naddie later freed wargarans from cages, so they could be free like the Path believed the Force should be, and she was attacked by them. The attack left her with scars, and Ro informed the Mother that she would not look the same again.[4]
Behind the scenes
Naddie first appeared in the audio drama The High Republic: The Battle of Jedha written by George Mann[4] and released on January 3, 2023, as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase II.[5] The spelling of Naddie's name was confirmed with the release of the audio drama's script,[6] published on February 14 of the same year.[5]
