Elder (Path of the Open Hand)

An Elder^[1] also known as Path Elders,^[3] was a title given to older members of the Path of the Open Hand cult that helped lead the group in a Council of Elders under a Herald and the Mother.^[1] Later, the Mother added a new leadership position in the form of the Guide of the Open Hand, which was granted to Marda Ro. When Ro reformed the Path into the Path of the Closed Fist, the Elders were among its ranks^[2] until they decided to abandon Ro's Path in the name of the "Open Hand" they believed in.^[4]
