Morrt

The morrts were a furry species of parasitic bloodsuckers native to Gamorr.

Biology and appearance

Morrts were small, slug-like parasites that sucked the blood from their hosts. Their skin gave off mild anesthetic.^[1] Morrts gave off a "sweetish stink."

Behavior

Wild morrts would swarm their target and drain it dry. Domesticated morrts were very tame and docile, and could easily be removed by their tails.^[1]

History

The native Gamorreans had great affection for these creatures and found them adorable. The number of morrts feeding on a Gamorrean was a status symbol among males with clan leaders and warriors having up to twenty of these creatures feeding on them at a time.
