Molavar

Molavar was an astronomical object^[5] located in the Abrion sector's Molavar system within an intersecting portion of the Outer Rim Territories^[1] and the Slice regions.^[2] It was at the junction of the Triellus Trade Route and the Manda Merchant Run hyperspace routes and just a short hyperspace jump from planet Scarif.^[3] The Manda Merchant Route linked Molavar to the^[3] planet^[6] Ukio,^[3] while the Triellus Trade Route linked Molavar to the astronomical objects Arvina and Nurasenti.^[5] The latter route was under the control of the Hutt Clan by the time of the Clone Wars^[7] and continued to be by the time of the Galactic Civil War, affecting Molavar's links to the planet Tatooine, which also lay along the route.^[8]

Around 22 BBY^[9] the military defense forces of Roon,^[4] another astronomical object along the Triellus Trade Route,^[10] participated in a skirmish on a space station near Molavar, where they served with distinction.^[4]

Behind the scenes

Molavar was introduced into the current canon when it was included on a map in the 2016 Fantasy Flight Games sourcebook Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game.^[11]
