Mohen Leo worked as a digital effect artist for Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[1] Leo later worked as a visual effects supervisor alongside John Knoll for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story[3] and a visual effects supervisor for the Star Wars: Andor television series.[2] Leo also created the story for the three-part Vader Immortal virtual reality game series, which was written by David S. Goyer.[4] For Andor, Industrial Light & Magic visual effects supervisor Scott Pritchard said that talking with Leo and[5] executive producer and writer[2] Tony Gilroy was the key. Leo frequently used a trick in which he would look at a shot and squint, effectively blurring the shot. Gilroy placed Leo and production designer Luke Hull in the center of what Pritchard called "the brains trust," and they knew the show needed to feel like Star Wars. According to Pritchard, Leo and Hull were in lock-step, and there was much trust between Leo, Hull, and Gilroy. The trust filtered to Pritchard's team, which put them in a good place to pick up.[5]
