Mintea was a beverage served in glasses that was consumable by humans. During the Imperial Era, the drink was a favorite of the Alderaanian Princess Leia Organa.[1] In 3 BBY,[3] Queen Breha Organa, her adoptive mother, carried a frosty glass of mintea into the library of the Royal Palace of Alderaan on the Core Worlds planet Alderaan while meeting with her daughter and husband Bail Organa there.[1]
A type of mintea—marstrap mintea—was available for sale in the Grand Arena on the planet Vespaara during the Hunters of the Outer Rim sporting event[2] in 9 ABY.[4] The drink was priced at four credits on the menu of The Restraining Bolt eatery, located on the bottom level of the arena's Mos Espa Waystation battlefield, displayed in Aurebesh lettering.[2]
