Marstrap mintea was a beverage advertised and sold in the Grand Arena during the Hunters of the Outer Rim sporting event. This type of mintea was priced at four credits on the menu of the The Restraining Bolt, an eatery found on the bottom level of the Mos Espa Waystation, one of the Grand Arena's battlefields located on the planet Vespaara.^[1] Mintea, a type of beverage consumed throughout the galaxy, including the Alderaanians of Alderaan,^[2] served as half of the beverage's namesake.^[1]

It was also partially named after the Marstrap family, farmers^[3] from the desert planet Tatooine, and more specifically Camie Marstrap, a longtime friend of the legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker and partner to Laze Loneozner,^[4] who was associated with the company Fixer's Power Units & Astroparts,^[1]^[5] also located within the Mos Espa Waystation battle arena.^[1]
