Mikkia was a planet with a variety of climates located in the galaxy's Expansion Region, and home to the Mikkian species. Mikkia was a member of the Galactic Republic for thousands of years.[3] During the High Republic Era, Jedi Master Mirro Lox and his Padawan Amadeo Azzazzo helped assist and rescue people during a large groundquake on the planet.[4] The destruction of the Jedi Order contributed to a high level of anti-Imperial sentiment on Mikkia.[3]
