Midarr was a terrestrial planet^[2] located in the Midarr system in the Mulgard sector of the Mid Rim Territories.^[1] The Burnsi Run hyperspace route led in the direction of Midarr from the planet Dol'har Hyde in the Outer Rim Territories.^[2]

During the Imperial Era, Beol De'Rruyet, head of De'Rruyet Industries, operated on the planet. After purchasing a Nihil Path engine from the smuggler Remy on Corellia, De'Rruyet planned to unveil the hyperdrive at an expo on Midarr. Subsequently, both General Vukorah of the Unbroken Clan and the rogue archaeologist Doctor Chelli Aphra—the latter of whom was hired by Domina Tagge, head of the Tagge Corporation—intended to travel to Midarr in search of the Nihil technology.^[2]
