The Marasa Nebula was a nebula and sector in the Inner Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] It contained the Marasai system in grid square O-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Marasa Nebula was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[3] The nebula originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 12: Aliens — Enemies and Allies, a 1995 supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game published by West End Games.[4]
