Manoe sector

The Manoe sector was a sector in the Mid Rim Territories that contained the Grehollo system and Manoe system in grid square K-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid.^[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Manoe sector was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com^[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.^[2] The sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it appeared in "To Free the Forgotten," a roleplaying game adventure published in the 1989 The Star Wars Rules Companion for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The adventure was written by Greg Gorden, who developed it from a story by Steve Gilbert and Michael Stern.^[3] It was then identified in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.^[4] The Manoe sector was depicted on a map designed by Modi and published in the 2012 StarWars.com article The Essential Atlas Extra: Sectors of the Mid Rim.^[5]
