The Manali system[1] was a star system located in the galaxy.[2]
In 5 ABY, the battle group that accompanied the Rebel flagship New Hope was dispatched to Menali for an errand of the New Republic. The errand took at least six standard days, as the Dreadnaught remained almost defenseless in the Milagro system during that time.[2]
Behind the scenes
This star system was only mentioned in the audio adaption of the novella Dark Forces: Jedi Knight, which was released in 1998. As the system's name was only given in spoken dialogue from the audio adaption, the actual spelling could not be determined[2] until 2025, when the "Star Systems of the Galaxy" appendix of star systems introduced the Manali system to the new Star Wars canon.[1]
