The Milagro system contained Milagro. It was located at an important hyperlane junction.[3]
History
Admiral Uther Kermen commanded the Milagro campaign of Milagro, fighting the New Republic in a months-long siege. Eventually, Kermen destroyed much of the planet Milagro with a Base Delta Zero bombardment to deny its resources to the New Republic before being forced to abandon the system.
A New Republic fleet led by Mon Mothma's flagship New Hope remained above the planet. Soon after, the system was visited by the damaged Purdy M. Trico's Star Destroyer for repairs and its convoy. Purdy M. Trico decided to attack the defenseless New Republic fleet, which however was successfully thwarted by a makeshift force.[5]
In the aftermath of the Trioculus affair in 5 ABY, the system was one of the hideouts of the New Republic Provisional Council, based on board the New Hope.[6]
