The Manali system was a star system located in the Imberlin sector of the Expansion Region. It was located in grid square P-14 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Manali system was first introduced to the new Star Wars canon by "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix written by Jason Fry[2] and published alongside the StarWars.com article Star Wars Galaxy Map on June 24, 2025.[1] The system originated in the 1998 audio adaptation of the Legends novella Dark Forces: Jedi Knight, although because it was mentioned in an audio-only medium and not written in the novella itself, a spelling for the system could not be confirmed until the publication of the appendix.[3]
