Malathon IX

Malathon IX was a planet[1] located in the Malathon system within the Ghost Nebula sector[2] as part of the Expansion Region. One half of the planet was a cold, scorched desert that made the Jedi hunter Ochi think Malathon IX had been blasted by a cosmic catastrophe and then left to cool. The other half of the planet was rain forest with a dense and lush jungle that covered both hemispheres of Malathon IX. During the Clone Wars, Ochi hunted Jedi Master Depa Billaba for five days on Malathon IX until he was confronted by Billaba's Master, Mace Windu.[1]
