- "A friend and I fell out."
"Your nemesis? That fellow from Luzalite?"
"No, it turns out we're friends now. I think." - ―Axel and Lexxir Greylark
Luzalite was a planet[3] located in the Luzalite system of the Core Worlds[1] and the Interior,[2] situated in grid square L-9 of the Standard Galactic Grid. A hyperspace route connected it to the astronomical object Pantolomin[4] and the planet[5] Coruscant.[4] Luzalite was little-known by the time of the High Republic Era. Kozmo Sundrel IV was a Luzalite lord hailing from Luzalite, and a variety of diamond—from which Sundrel's Luzalite diamond medallion was fashioned—was also from the planet.[3] By 396 BBY,[6] Sundrel had become active in the wider galaxy.[3] Around that same year,[6] when Reena University student Axel Greylark spoke to his father—Galactic Republic Senator Lexxir Greylark—about his improved friendship with Sundrel, Lexxir referred to Sundrel's homeworld.[3]

Luzalite was first mentioned in the short story "The Queen's Bloom," written by Zoraida Córdova and published in the 2023 young-adult anthology The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.[3]
