Lorahns system

The Lorahns system was a star system located in the Sloo sector of the Mid Rim Territories, in grid square P-14 on the Standard Galactic Grid^[1] within the the Slice.^[2] It was also situated within .^[3] It shared its name with the nearby^[1] gravitational sink nicknamed Lorahns Cavity by the locals of the planet Vandor;^[4] both Vandor and the Cavity were also located in the Sloo sector.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Lorahns was first depicted in the new Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 boxed set for Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.^[3] In the Star Wars Legends, the planet Lorahns was first mentioned in the "A Barve Like That: The Tale of Boba Fett," a 1995 short story authored by Daniel Keys Moran and published in the anthology book, Tales from Jabba's Palace.^[5] It later made its first appearance via flashback in The Bounty Hunters: Aurra Sing, the first issue of Star Wars: The Bounty Hunters comic-book series, which was authored and illustrated by Timothy Truman and published by Dark Horse Comics^[6] on August 11, 1999.^[7]
