Lonera was the homeworld of the Loneran species.[3] It was located in the Inner Rim Territories[1] along the Nanth'ri Trade Route[2] between Antar and Gyndine.[5] The fact Lonera was near the galaxy's Expansion Region was met with derision by some.[4]
In 3 BBY, Lonera was considered as a candidate world for an Imperial aeronautical engineering and design academy.[4] During the New Republic era, Lonera was represented in the Galactic Senate by Senator Varish Vicly.[3]
