The Lianna system[5] was located within the Allied Tion sector,[3] which was a subsector of the Tion Cluster. It was situated in the regions known as the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] The Lianna system contained the astronomical object Lianna, the homeworld of the powerful Santhe family,[4] and was situated in grid square S-6 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
The Lianna system was connected to the astronomical objects Columex and Desevro by the Perlemian Trade Route. The system was the endpoint[1] of both the Shaltin Tunnels[5] hyperspace route and another hyperlane,[1] linking the Lianna system to the Cadinth system to the west and[1] the planet[6] Zygerria to the north.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Lianna system was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the "Guide to the Galaxy" section of the twenty-first issue of De Agostini's Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[5] published around May 27, 2015[7] and written by Tim Veekhoven.[8] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Lianna system was introduced in Mission to Lianna, a 1992 supplement authored by Joanne E. Wyrick for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game published by West End Games.[9]
