The Ktilac Regions were a sector of the Inner Rim Territories. In grid square N-9 of the Standard Galactic Grid, they contained the Daedalon, Ktil, Nahsu Minor, Tocoya, Tun Wala, and Vob systems.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Ktilac Regions were first mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[2] This retroactively made the first appearance of the sector an unlabeled point representing the Ktil system on an in-universe map viewable in Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, an immersive roleplaying experience at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida[3] that opened to the public on March 1, 2022,[4] and had its final voyage from September 28 to 30, 2023.[5]
The sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 supplement to Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game that was published by West End Games.[6] It was then visually depicted for the first time on a map by Modi in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[7]
