Kronk was a terrestrial astronomical object[4] located in the Kronk system within the Auril sector of[3] the Outer Rim[1] and the Slice.[2] It was situated on grid square R-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] Sometime after around 248 BBY,[5] Yaddle, a Jedi Master[4] who was a member of a mysterious species,[6] went for a sabbatical on Kronk.[4]

In 231 BBY,[5] the Jedi Master, realizing that she missed her time teaching the Jedi Order's younglings, left her sabbatical and returned to the Jedi Temple on[4] the Core Worlds[1] planet Coruscant. Upon encountering Yaddle in the Temple, Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh told the Jedi Master she thought she had still been on sabbatical on Kronk. In response, Yaddle informed her that she had returned for the time being and explained her reasoning.[4]

Behind the scenes

Kronk was first mentioned in the 2021 young-adult novel The High Republic: Out of the Shadows, written by Justina Ireland and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[4] Phase I.[7]
