Kegan was an astronomical object[3] in the Kegan system in the Outer Rim Territories' Calaron sector, in grid square T-9 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The planet Saleucami was situated between Kegan and the planet Handooine.[3]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Kegan was first mentioned in "Visiting Saleucami," an article published by De Agostini in the "Guide to the Galaxy" department of the magazine Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon 44[3] around November 4, 2015.[4] The location originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in Jude Watson's 2000 novel Jedi Apprentice: The Fight for Truth.[5]

(In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
