Handooine was an astronomical object. The Outer Rim Territories world of Saleucami was located between Handooine and Kegan.[2]
Behind the scenes
Handooine was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the forty-fourth issue of De Agostini's Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[2] published around November 4, 2015.[3] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Handooine was introduced in "Republic HoloNet News Core Edition 14:7:02," an article authored by Pablo Hidalgo as an in-universe news report, which was published as part of the sixty-eighth issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine[4] on May 12, 2003.[5]
