- "Juma juice?"
"No." - ―Andrik Keller and a serving droid
Juma juice was a beverage potable to the Er'Kit species.[1] In 231 BBY,[3] former Nihil Strike Andrik Keller visited a cantina on the Ash Worlds[1] planet[4] Sran. Attempting to order a drink, Keller asked the serving droid if he had juma juice, but was told no, leading Keller to eventually settle on ordering a glass of vematoid.[1]
In 3 ABY,[5] a shipment of stock which included juma juice was confiscated by an Imperial customs officer on Renpalli Station in orbit over the Outer Rim moon Toshara before it could reach its rightful recipient, a Mon Calamari merchant named Jonkah Rremset on the surface of Toshara. The shipment ultimately got to Rremset after he enlisted the help of the scoundrel Kay Vess.[2]
Behind the scenes
Juma juice was first mentioned in the canon continuity in the 2021 audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Runner by Cavan Scott.[1] The juice was originally introduced in the legends continuity in the 2002 junior novel Jedi Quest: The Trail of the Jedi by Jude Watson.[6]
