Jezzi was a human female living on the planet Ferrix. She was a member of the Daughters of Ferrix, a local social club, and a good friend to Maarva Carassi Andor, an elder woman of the community and a former president of the Daughters. As Maarva's health worsened, Jezzi tried to take care of her and after her death, she led Maarva's funeral procession. After the funeral turned into a a riot, Jezzi piloted a Breon HOY-39 Dayvan starship to evacuate herself and a group of other resistance members.

Biography

Jezzi was a human female living on the planet Ferrix. She was a member of the Daughters of Ferrix,^[4] a local social club, and a good friend to Maarva Carassi Andor, an elderly woman of the community and a former president of the Daughters.^[5]

At one night^[7] in 5 BBY,^[8] Jezzi alongside Femmi, brought supper and medicine to the Andor household. Jezzi later returned to the residence. The next day, Maarva's adopted son Cassian Andor, who had been out of the house when Jezzi visited, questioned the family droid B2EMO as to who had visited while he was out. B2EMO mentioned Jezzi and Femmi's visit and began to explain why Jezzi had returned, but Cassian cut him off and asked specifically if anyone had come looking for him.^[7] Jezzi, along with Sammo, was one of the few individuals aware that Cassian was born on Kenari rather than Fest as Maarva claimed that they were family.^[9]

As Maarva's health worsened, the Daughters and other members of the community like Brasso tried to take care of her.^[4] After Maarva Andor's death, they organized her funeral procession and the Ferrix resistance movement. Led by Jezzi, the scope and scale of the procession acted against the direct mandates dictated by the officials of the Galactic Empire and at the end of the procession, Maarva Andor's droid B2EMO played a hologram recording of her which denounced the Empire's actions. After the funeral turned into a a riot, Jezzi piloted a Breon HOY-39 Dayvan starship to flee the planet along with Brasso, B2EMO, Bix Caleen and Wilmon Paak.^[5]

Jezzi was mentioned in the first episode of the first season of the live-action television series Star Wars: Andor,^[7] which aired on September 21, 2022.^[10] She first appeared in the episode "One Way Out," portrayed by Pamela Nomvete.^[2]
