The Jarbanov system was located within the Slice portion[3] of the Expansion Region,[1] in the outskirts of the junker systems.[2] Situated in the Serathrace sector at the coordinates P-11 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] it contained the barren planet Jarbanov, and Jarbanov's moon, in its inner section.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Jarbanov system first appeared in Shadow Fall: An Alphabet Squadron Novel, the second novel in Alexander Freed's Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy.[2] It was identified in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were written by Jason Fry.[4]
