- "Take a look at those coordinates. That's the Ishram system. The place where they found Shara'Tam."
"And?"
"And the Ishram system was destroyed about fifty years ago when its sun went nova. All of it, gone." - ―Dexter Jettster and Jarl
A sun was located in the Ishram system[3] within the Seitia sector of the Outer Rim[1] and Western Reaches.[2] It was situated in grid square L-20 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The sun destroyed the entire system when it went supernova[3] around 72 BBY. In 22 BBY,[4] the Besalisk Dexter Jettster mentioned the sun's destruction of the system to the criminal Jarl.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Ishram system's sun was mentioned in "Galactic Tales: Inheritance," an installment of the Galactic Tales series of short stories. The story was written by George Mann and was published in the Star Wars Insider magazine's 211th issue[3] on June 7, 2022.[5]
