The Imperial Security Bureau safe room was a room in the Imperial office complex located near the Palmo Plaza in Palmo, the capital city of the planet Ghorman. The soundproof room provided a secure direct connection to Coruscant. In 3 BBY Syril Karn used while working undercover as the Division Chief of the local Imperial Bureau of Standards field office to contact ISB Supervisor Dedra Meero to inform her that he made contact with the Ghorman Front, a local rebel cell.[1] Dedra retreated to the room after the Ghorman Massacre.[2]

Behind the scenes

The safe room appeared in the second season of the live-action series Star Wars: Andor, first appearing in the series's fourth episode, "Ever Been to Ghorman?," which was released on Disney+[1] on April 29, 2025.[3] A Star Wars Databank entry for the safe room was added on the same day.[4]
