"The Gangsters of Galzez" is a comic strip written by Martin Fisher, drawn by Bob Molesworth and edited by Gunther Nickel. The story was published in the twentieth issue of the Star Wars Rebels Magazine series by Egmont UK Ltd, which was released on August 10, 2016.
According to Fisher, the story takes place between the Star Wars Rebels episodes "Shroud of Darkness" and "The Forgotten Droid."[4]
Plot summary
The members of the Ghost Crew aboard Liberator is forced to make an emergency landing on the planet Galzez after jumped out of hyperspace. Ezra Bridger and a Rebel officer named Higz go out to scout the surrounding area.
They encounter a group of Dugs gangsters, part of the "Syvik Delegation" commanded by a Dug named Rokeg, who have captured Commander Jun Sato. Higz is shot by the Dugs after Ezra warns him to take cover. Ezra is also taken hostage. The rest of the rebel crew must then deal with the gangsters and secure the release of their captured comrades.
