- "40 billion gleactoods housed in weberies across the planet will spin the fiber from which 60 million bolts of Ghorman twill will be processed just this season alone! It's a planetary-wide effort with each of Ghorman's nine provinces pulling together to provide a single processing and delivery system all that gorgeous material gathered for display and sale in the capital city, Palmo!"
- ―A narrator in the advertisement "Welcome to Ghorman"
Ghorman twill was a type of fabric produced from the silk weaved by Ghorlectipods, a type of spider unique to the planet Ghorman. Much of the planet's economy was based around the production of the fabric.[1] Galactic Republic senator Bal-Cobor Sampurn of the Sern sector was known to wear hoods and robes made of Ghorman twill woven on an antique Beldoni loom, believed to be fifteen thousand years old.[2]
Behind the scenes
- "Tony was keen to make their main success in the galaxy to be the manufacturing of Ghorman Twill, woven from spiders native to the planet, and from that everything spawned."
- ―Luke Hull
