The Haurgab system was a star system located in the Spirva sector of the Mid Rim Territories. It was situated in grid square L-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Haurgab system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[2] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in Order 66: A Republic Commando Novel, the fourth novel in the Republic Commando series, which was written by Karen Traviss and released in 2008.[3] It was then identified as the Haurgab system for the first time in the 2009 rference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[4]
