"When they were first confronted with space travel, many left their homes and sought out worlds to wreak havoc, particularly in places of ill repute."
―An artist's journal entry on the Hassks[3]

Hasskyn was a terrestrial celestial body[3] located in the Hasskyn system of the Minos Cluster, a part of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Western Reaches.[2] It was situated in grid square M-20 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Hasskyn was the homeworld of the sentient Hassk species. When the naturally aggressive Hassks were first introduced to interstellar travel, many of them left their homeworld in order to wreak havoc elsewhere in the galaxy. Hasskyn was eventually mentioned in an entry of an artist's journal dedicated to the species. The journal was eventually restored, expanded, and displayed at the Graf Archive[3] at some point no earlier than 34 ABY.[4]

Behind the scenes

Hasskyn was introduced in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Alien Archive by Natalie Clubb and Katrina Pallant.[3]
