- "Gerrigon was once a thriving hub of culture and commerce. A devastating civil war led to a massacre of most of its inhabitants after the Republic and Jedi Order failed to help."
- ―A probe droid
Gerrigon was a terrestrial astronomical object[3] in the Gerrigon system in the Masla sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] that was once a hub of culture and commerce. During the Republic Era, a civil war broke out on Gerrigon. The Galactic Republic and Jedi Order failed to assist, resulting in the massacre of many of its inhabitants. By the Imperial Era, Gerrigon had remained unoccupied, and nature had reclaimed its urban environment, though bandits did use the area as a safe haven. According to legend, the souls of the dead resided in the abandoned buildings. During the Inquisitorius' hunt for the Jedi survivor Tensu Run, the Fifth Brother followed a sighting of Run to Gerrigon, though only found a hologram left by the Jedi. Run eventually returned to Gerrigon to confront the Fifth Brother, besting him in combat, but let the Inquisitor live to pass on word of the Jedi's continued survival.[3]
