«The tealeaf?»
«Yes. Very few Pathfinder employers remember their navigator's preferences.» - ―Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo and Pathfinder navigator Qilori
Galara tealeaf was a warm beverage[2] that originated from the Galara system[1] in the Mid Rim Territories.[3] It was the favorite drink of Pathfinder navigator Qilori, and at some point, the Chiss Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo, core name "Thrawn," learned of this preference.[2] In 19 BBY,[4] Thrawn gave Qilori a mug of galara tealeaf while he and the navigator traveled to the Unknown Regions planet Primea aboard the former's freighter. Before arriving at Primea, Qilori took a last sip of the beverage.[2]
In 18 BBY,[5] Qilori stored a flask of galara tealeaf in a warmer aboard the Kilji war cruiser Anvil shortly before the war cruiser's destruction, which he escaped aboard an escape pod. After Thrawn rescued Qilori and brought him to the Paccosh-commandeered Nikardun blockade frigate Aelos, the Pathfinder drank galara tealeaf.[6]
Behind the scenes
Galara tealeaf first appeared in the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first volume in Timothy Zahn's Ascendancy Trilogy.[2]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Galara tealeaf in relation to Galara system.
