- "Our Republic friends, our new friends and allies, far beyond the Core. The Night of Sorrow is over, but the brave warriors who fell will not be forgotten. These Jedi came to answer our call of need without hesitation or doubt, because at the heart of the Jedi is a heart that fights for good. These Jedi fought bravely and selflessly, against the darkness that is ever-present in this galaxy. Beautiful, bright lights have gone dark. I am truly saddened to say that there are pyres burning throughout the galaxy tonight. And now here, in the Jedi Temple, we gather to honor three exemplary Jedi. Master Orin Darhga, Master Char-Ryl-Roy, and Jedi Knight Aida Forte. Many lives were lost on Dalna. Not just Jedi lives. Many friends who came to our aid in our time of desperate need have left us. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten, and we mourn them as well. All lives have a beginning and an end. With every beginning is born hope and goodness. No matter how short or long those lives are, the galaxy expands to meet them at every tide, every sunset, and every breath. Whenever we are weak, or weary, or doubting, it is this hope and goodness that will buoy us all. They offered their lives to keep this light alive. All of us shall carry the gift they so selflessly gave. And now they are at peace, living within the everlasting light of the Force. A light that exists within everyone here. And so, too, do our fallen comrades exist within us."
- ―Creighton Sun's speech
In the aftermath of the Night of Sorrow, a funeral was held at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. During the funeral, Jedi Master held a speech. The kyber crystals of Jedi Master Orin Darhga's and Jedi Knight Aida Forte's lightsabers were also to be added to the Kyber Arch.[1]
