Yavin 6 (talk - history - links - logs - delete - protect)
Hello there! I'm setting up this vote to look into restoring Yavin 6, which was previously deleted and redirected to the Yavin system page. Yavin 6 was actually mentioned in a quiz featured in Star Wars Adventures Magazine 9 (page 24). —DKS MaXoO (talk) 02:02, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
The Battle of Yavin actually took place near one of its moons. Which one?
a. Yavin 2 c. Yavin 6
b. Yavin 4 d. Yavin 8
Restore
- Common sense says it exists given Yavin 8 and this cements it. Easy nom? NBDani

- Mentioned among other IU locations, I don't see a problem. Mor9347
(Talk) 02:12, 19 May 2025 (UTC) - Does says its one of the moons Lewisr (talk) 02:20, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- Unlike something like "Jedi Master's Quiz" (which also has "incorrect" answers that are occasionally new subjects) this is specifically mentioned within the context of "one of its moons." That wording, and "which one", I would argue indicates these are IU subjects. Rsand 30 (talk) 02:23, 19 May 2025 (UTC)

Hey, it's me! 02:29, 19 May 2025 (UTC) - Still agree with the past CT's other redirections though given those names are conjectural/derived, unlike this one.—spookywillowwtalk 02:31, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- Per Rsand. The wording of the question suggests these are all IU locations. Tommy-Macaroni (he/they) 08:22, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, echoing the above, the other moons are extrapolated, but this is named and identified as an actual distinct moon. Whether the source was made for children or not shouldn't matter. OOM 224 08:38, 19 May 2025 (UTC)

- Kind of a tough one, but I'm ultimately in favor of comprehensive coverage for this. The number isn't outlandish, so unless they state something that directly contradicts this count, I don't see why we can't cover it for now. (And who knows, maybe it'll be self-fulfilling, where Wookieepedia having a page will ultimately lead to it being officially fleshed out at some point.) - MTrac1000 (talk) 13:11, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- Dr. Kermit(Complain.) 14:42, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- Per Rsand, the specific wording of the question implies it does exist CometSmudge (talk) 16:38, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- If the hangup is the target audience of the source then that's a lot of articles on the wiki that shouldn't exist. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 17:27, 19 May 2025 (UTC)

- This is a children's magazine, and it's a puzzle quiz for children, not something in-universe. It's a memory test for the numbers; that doesn't mean these moons actually exist. Cade

- I'm with Cade on this one. I don't think it has any canonical value other than being a fun small activity for children. Bonzane10

- Noting for the record my vote has nothing to do with the source being aimed a younger audience. Instead, it's simply the "which is the correct answer?" format of this info that makes me super wary of accepting as intentionally canonical anything that is not the correct answer. - I think I agree with Imp's reasoning on this one. Wok142 (talk) 22:14, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
- Is the only source for the name "Yavin 6" the answer to a multiple choice quiz in an oou media? I feel like that would set a weird precedent if that was the case. ThePedantry (talk) 01:55, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
