Hello all. I am here to propose a change for the infobox image of Torra Doza. The article's current main image is a piece of artwork from Star Wars: Destiny. While the artwork is great, I feel it does not accurately represent the character as we see them in canon.

Additionally, we have sweapped other images for Star Wars Resistance characters from Destiny with images from the show or its promotional materials. For example, we've swapped out Synara San's image for one from the show per a previous Consensus Track vote, and though I cannot find the vote for it, Kazuda Xiono's image was reverted to the one from the show as well. These decisions were made despite a widespread preference for realistic infobox images on this site, and thus present a clear precedent for the images of these characters from Destiny being poorer representations of them compared to the ones from the show.

  • Option 1: Keep the current image from Star Wars: Destiny.
  • Option 2: Change the image to the one shown below.

If anyone has an image they believe to be more appropriate than either option, feel free to share it and we can add it to the vote. Thanks.

    • This is not a policy but instead a very loose precedent, and we have many cases of exceptions (the aforementioned Synara infobox CT above, the Grand Inquisitor, the Fifth Brother, Sabe, and Kittster to name a few, though those last two are explicitly due to visible age-related differences). - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 06:33, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

  12. I don't actually hate the Destiny art, but I do agree the infobox should be the model from the show. Pro moving the destiny anywhere in the article because I think we need to do better about varieting the images we use.   19. While there are cases in which realistic depictions are preferable, I've always thought that it shouldn't be a definitive yes/no for an infobox. We have recent precedent, such as the examples mentioned above, as well as The Grand Inquisitor, Fifth Brother, and Echo: all these characters have realistic images available, however they do not represent the character as accurately as their original depiction in animation. The purpose of an infobox is to feature an image that best depicts the subject of the article, and for Torra Doza it makes sense to be from the show itself. Rsand 30 (talk) 16:52, 12 March 2023 (UTC)

    • The snowball clause was recently clarified to require at least a ratio of 9:1. Right now, the 24 supports vs 3 opposes doesn't satisfy that. Imperators II(Talk) 07:46, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
