Hello there! As it seems like a simple proposal I'm bringing this up straight to CT. First came up on the main Discord channel some time ago, we currently do not have an infobox template to use for non-pet non-sentient individual creatures. The status article precedents about it are also inconsistent: While some of them use {{Character}}, others use {{Pet}}, and even a few older status articles erroneously use {{Species}} for individual creatures.

Since the pet template has only one unique parameter, |owners=, I think fully incorporating {{Pet}} into {{Character}}, similar to how {{Musician}} was incorporated before, would be an ideal solution. This change would render {{Character}} the infobox for all organic individuals, no matter their sentience. Also, assigning a new infobox color for pets/non-sentient individuals will allow us the maintain the same exact infobox look for pages with the Pet template, and the only actual change will be in their source code.

In short, I'm proposing to retire {{Pet}} by adding an optional |owners= parameter and a new "Pet" infobox color to {{Character}}. I also propose updating the Character infobox template page with this proposed text to document the existence of these optional parameters, including the existing musical information fields (note the new "Optional parameters" section).
