Han Solo's canon infobox isn't terrible by any means but having such a major character looking away from the reader isn't the best we can do. While there aren't a million great options for a new image to represent Han, here are some potential alternatives that were pulled together. Option 1 (current)

  1. 2 and 4 are too poor quality. Han Solo has a haircut that I just don't think lends itself well to transparent backgrounds. —Unsigned comment by NBDani (talk • contribs)

  8. | Option Two is essentially, way to low a resolution to be utilised as a mainstay on the infobox for a major traditional character. Nonetheless, I will assert that if a higher resolution image is eventually uploaded, it would be the preferrable option - it is sourced from the same photoshoot of Han on Takodana at the castle and would have been the perfect update. Moving forward, I dislike the inclination for character infobox images to now possess removed transparent backgrounds, so I personally reject Option Three, though it is a good image with Han facing the camera. Option Four gives the sentiment of it being used in 2015 (not sure if it ever was) when Han in 34 ABY, had no other images. Option One remains preferable. I do plan on commencing a CT at some point for Han's Legends article, though.   10. I don't think eye contact is necessary for infobox images (for example, it's not uncommon to find no eye contact in formal portraits of royalty) and while option 4 would be okay, I think option 1 has better lightning and quality overall. Xd1358 (Talk) 19:47, 20 November 2024 (UTC)

    • Look at all three of the current options. The lighting/color is off in the current option, not the other way around. And in regards to the quality, to me, that's the weakest of all the arguments.
