Presenting a on behalf of the boards a small bylaws tweak, affecting:

Under the subheader "Striking invalid objections", add a sub-bullet:

"Automated objections left by JocastaBot may be struck by an [EC/AC/Inq] after deemed resolved."

(goes logically, the [] bit will just be the one word per board depending on what bylaws page it's being added)

An example of an automated objection can be seen here, on a recent nomination. Essentially; this has been the going practice for awhile now (as the bot cannot strike its own, so we just started doing it for it); but nevertheless, noticed it as a gap in the bylaws so may as well make it so formally. The bot only currently issues wordcount objections which are a simple verify to see if fixed or not, and don't need a formal 3 EC votes to check that.—spookywillowwtalk 02:23, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
