This is a small amendment to the (OOU) Layout Guide's clause regarding the Appearances section of media articles. More specifically, this is a proposal to restrict (but not wholly prohibit) the inclusion of Appearances lists for in the Star Wars franchise.

This vote simply proposes that the following bullet point be added to the Appearances clause:

  • "An Appearances section should not be included on an article if the related work was canceled or cut prior to its release, unless there are subjects that were confirmed to have planned appearances in the work according to a reliable source (in accordance with the Sourcing policy)."

However, there is also the full possibility of content being removed or revised at some point further than what we may even know from reliable sources. As such, the alternative bullet point is also up for vote:

  • "An Appearances section should not be included on an article if the related work was canceled or cut prior to its release."
