"Can you get me more on Lechra? Oh, and also Forrn–I seem to recall they had a moon with carnium as well."
―Leia Organa, to Nioma[3]

A moon with a source of the energy-rich material carnium orbited the world Forrn,[3] which was located in the Forrn system within the Xan sector of the Mid Rim[1] and the Slice.[2] It was situated in grid square Q-15 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

In 4 ABY,[4] when Princess Leia Organa discussed with Rebel Intelligence Major Nioma reaching out to worlds with energy-rich materials, the former requested from the latter data on Forrn, as Organa recalled the carnium of the world's moon. The princess eventually reached out to Empress Eliaora, who ruled Forrn, about the world siding with the nascent New Republic.[3]

Behind the scenes

Forrn's moon was mentioned in The Princess and the Scoundrel, a 2022 novel written by Beth Revis.[3]
