The Firrerre system was a star system in the Sugai sector, a sub-sector of the Zuma sector in the Outer Rim Territories. It fell within grid square I-20 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and contained the world Firrerre, which was considered local to the moon Endor,[2] which was located in the same grid square in the Moddell sector, another subsector of the Zuma sector.[3]
By 34 ABY,[4] Firrerre was the site of a consular office for the New Republic's Space Ministry.[5] In 34 ABY,[6] the Firrerre system's position was marked on several screens aboard Chandrila Star Line's Star Cruiser Halcyon that displayed a partial map of the galaxy.[7]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Firrerre system was mentioned as just "Firrerre" on a map of the galaxy included with Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 Star Wars Roleplaying box set published by Fantasy Flight Games.[8] It then first appeared on several maps viewable in Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, an immersive two-day roleplaying experience at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida[7] that opened to the public on March 1, 2022[9] and was launched for the final time on September 28, 2023.[10] The system was then identified fully as the Firrerre system in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[11]
The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in The Crystal Star, a 1994 novel written by Vonda N. McIntyre.[12] It was then identified and depicted for the first time in The Essential Guide to Planets and Moons, a 1998 reference book written by Daniel Wallace and illustrated by Brandon McKinney and Scott Kolins.[13]
