Uro was a planet[2] located in the Outer Rim Territories' Wazta sector, within the Uro system. It was situated in grid square I-17 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] Uro was home to an arachnid species who consumed their weakest children.[2] In 40 BBY,[3] when Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn questioned why the Galactic Republic allowed corporations like the Czerka Corporation to practice slavery, Grand Master Yoda used Uro and its native species as an example of unethical actions that the Republic did not prevent.[2]

Uro was mentioned in Master & Apprentice, a 2019 novel written by Claudia Gray.[2]
